Q: Where are you from originally?
A: I grew up along the east bank of the Mississippi river near Natchez.
Q: Coffee or tea?
A: Both! My go-to is usually earl grey tea or if I’m feeling frisky, coffee with my Bialetti.
Q: What was the last book you read?
Q: If you could switch jobs with someone for a day, what or who would it be?
A: President Joe Biden, so that we can finally cross “first female president” off America’s bucket list in hopes that a more highly qualified woman might then have a fighting chance.
Q: Do you listen to podcasts? If so, what’s your favorite?
A: Yes, it’a a tie between H3 Podcast and Off the F*cking Rails with Kim Griffin.
Meet Abbie Kmiec
Role: UX designer

Q: What’s playing in your headphones at work?
A: Usually a true crime podcast. My favorite right now is Crime Junkies!
Q: Coffee or tea?
A: My morning go-to is coffee but that’s mainly when I need an energy boost. I love to make blonde espresso drinks when I’m feeling fancy but otherwise love tea too.
Q: What gets you out of bed in the morning?
A: Usually my cat, Nox, meowing at me until I get up to feed him.
Q: If you could switch jobs with someone for a day, what or who would it be?
A: I know someone who is a biologist who leads cruise ship tours from Argentina to Antarctica to tell people about the penguins that live there. That would be a pretty cool gig.
Q: What are you currently watching? (TV/Netflix/Hulu, etc)
A: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel when I have time to sit down and watch a show, otherwise New Girl for background noise.
