Work with Fuzzy Math
Small teams of passionate people working towards a shared vision.
We love empowering mission-driven organizations through good design. We employ our full suite of UX design services to help nonprofits deepen their understanding of the communities they serve, and translate that understanding into effective digital products that advance the organizational mission. In many cases, we may be able to offer reduced rates or pro-bono work for nonprofit organizations.
As with all our work, designing for nonprofits begins with the people on the other side of the equation: who are we trying to help, what do they need, what do they do today, what are the unique factors of their lives that need to be accounted for in any product aimed at helping them. We work with our partner organizations to align product strategy with how they operate, understanding that for most organizations suddenly hiring a big support team isn’t going to happen.
Our nonprofit work is often focused on maximizing the capabilities of small, dedicated teams of people whose responsibilities might change depending on the day — as a small, scrappy team ourselves, this is a very comfortable space from which to operate.
Through primarily pro-bono engagements, we’ve had the privilege of working with world-class organizations delivering significant value to our community. These engagements have spanned vastly different focus areas, including mental health, education, public transit, social services, architecture, philanthropy, and public parks.
Outside of project work, Fuzzy Math donates 1% of gross revenue through 1% For the Planet. Fuzzy Math employees regularly give back their time to organizations like Spark and Maven Youth to help provide personal mentorship and support.
