A kickoff workshop brings client and design together to align on a common understanding of the project, including who the project stakeholders are, their roles, the background of the project, project goals, and process.
The kickoff workshop is a necessary first step for any UX design project. It allows everyone the opportunity to get acquainted and understand who’s who! Our kickoffs also usually include empathy mapping and design principle activities to help define expectations and get everyone on the same page about what’s to come.
