Handoff

The design handoff is the process of passing all of the necessary deliverables to the development team so that they can bring the product to life through code.

In order to have a successful handoff, it is important for design teams to not only have a clear line of communication with developers throughout the course of a project, but to also understand what the development team needs in order to make sure the final product functions, looks, and flows as intended.
