Desiree holds a bachelors and masters degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and Columbia University, respectively. She started her career as a structural engineer in the design and rehabilitation of buildings before transitioning to UX. Her transition into UX was inspired by a desire to live a life of curiosity, discovery, and innovation. She is committed to creating unique, yet intuitive, and impactful designs, and dedicated to prioritizing perspectives often forgotten and overlooked.
In her free time, she enjoys getting cozy with a good book, exercising her creative muscles with art and crafting, and going on hikes with her dog.
